The Details
Your contract price includes up to 18 plows.
We will be out to plow your driveway at 2.5” of snow and will consistently check it for accumulating and drifting snow throughout the day and night to make sure you’re able to get in and out easily.
Our dedicated team will arrive promptly – our goal is to have your driveway plowed by 7:00 AM in the morning, depending upon the time of the snow event. We also email our customers before unique snow events to let them know that we are monitoring and when we anticipate starting and completing our routes.
Unlike many other companies which only plow once per day, the Benson team will continue to monitor and will plan to be out again before 5:00 PM, if needed.
We offer seasonal contract snowplow services from Nov 1 – April 30.

Benson Enterprises Snow Removal Service Terms and Conditions
1) SCOPE OF SNOW PLOWING
- Benson Enterprises will plow your driveway when 2.5 inches of new snow has accumulated or drifted in. Up to 10” of snow is considered (1) plow; over 10” of snow is considered (2) plows. This is measured by the contractor at the pavement.
- Depending on the time of the snowfall, we attempt to service customers by 7:00am or 5:00pm. Often roadway snowplows fill driveway aprons with excess snow after driveways have been cleared. After we have plowed, we will go back and clear out the ends of the driveway, if needed.
- If obstacles are present, we will not plow that portion of the driveway and will stay at least (2) feet away from it.
- We will stake your driveway in the Fall and remove the stakes in the Spring. We are not responsible for any and ALL damages resulting from relocated or missing markers by anyone other than Benson Enterprises.
- A service call fee may be incurred if a special trip request is made. Examples are if you move a car and want us to come back and plow where it was, or you have us come out and plow with less than 2.5 inches of snow. If this occurs, we will count that as an additional plow plus you will be charged an additional $25.00.
2) TURF REPAIR
In the event our snowplow damages your turf, we will reseed the damaged area in the immediate Spring following this contract period.
3) LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Though we accept responsibility for damages caused by driver error, Benson Enterprises is not responsible for damages to unseen or unmarked objects, or driveways that are unable to withstand normal snow removal operations. Driveways with less than four inches of base and/or two inches of asphalt, or whose bases are water saturated or poorly compacted, are examples.
The contractor will exercise reasonable care to avoid damage to pavement, curbs, trees and shrubs. However, the contractor is not responsible for any:
- damage to landscaping caused by the piling of snow
- normal “wear and tear” to driveways, such as scratches or gauging caused by the metal snow plow blade.
- damage to items that are snow covered or not visible
- personal injuries resulting from slip and fall accidents
- Acts of God, including but not limited to extraordinary weather conditions
4) INDEMNIFICATION
The owner shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless the contractor, its owners and employees from and against any and all claims, damages, reasonable attorney’s fees, costs and expenses that the contractor incurs as a result of a claim or claims brought by the owner or any third party, arising out of any wrongdoing, negligence and/or breach of contract by the owner alleged or otherwise, or any Act of God, including but not limited to extraordinary weather conditions, that is related, in any manner whatsoever, to the premises or the owner’s involvement with the premises or the services, including but not limited to personal injuries.
5) PERIL BEYOND OUR CONTROL
Customer is aware that plowing may not clear their property to bare pavement and that slippery conditions may prevail even after plowing. Benson Enterprises assumes no responsibility for accidents that result from this naturally occurring condition.
6) PAYMENT
- Payment for snow plowing services is due in full by October 1st.
- Additional Plows over (18) trips will be billed at the end of the season and are due 15 days from the invoice date.
- An interest penalty of 1.5% a month (18% a year) will be charged for past due accounts. The minimum monthly finance charge is $3.00. Any failure to pay the agreed upon price constitutes a default in payment. The customer is liable for all costs, disbursements and attorney’s fees necessary to enforce this agreement.
