The Benson TurfCare Program
Premier lawn care for every season to keep your lawn healthy and beautiful
Your lawn is an important part of your property, and maintaining the health and value of it is essential. The Benson Enterprises’ TurfCare program consists of strategic applications of pre-emergent, fertilizers, weed control, and optional insect control. Visits are scheduled six weeks apart starting in the early Spring and goes through late October to keep your lawn growing strong and looking healthy and vibrant.
TurfCare Scheduled Visits
With our TurfCare Program, we carry out several services to help maintain your lawn. This program includes:
- Pre-Emergent Treatment: To prepare your lawn for the spring season, we use pre-emergent treatments to prevent crabgrass.
- Fertilization: Based on the season and the type of lawn you have, we use fertilizers to provide to enhance the nutrients your turf needs for the growing season.
- Weed Control: We provide regular and effective weed control to handle seasonal weeds in your yard.
Optional Treatments that can be added to your TurfCare Program include:
- Grub Control Treatment: Adding grub control will stop present grubs from damaging your turf which in turn reduces the damage caused by skunks, raccoons, birds, and voles that hunt for grubs.
- Aeration: The aeration process can solve small thatch issues within your lawn, and can help reduce water runoff. It also helps increase turf tolerance to heat and drought during the summer months.
- Overseeding: Overseeding is essential to produce a beautifully lush and healthy lawn. Some of the added benefits of overseeding are erosion reduction, minimizing pests and diseases, along with increased lawn thickness.
